Class President 1964  Kentucky Boys State 1964. Attended: U of K northern center Ohio State Cleveland State. Received B S Degree at age of fifty two  Safety Engineering Kennedy Western University
Joined USMC in 1966 received two meritorious promotions to the rank of S/Sgt serving as a platoon Sgt  and radio chief   
Married my high school sweetheart Carol Krafft in 1966

Selected as a Business Agent for the IBEW and organized many non-Union contractors
General Manager of Galion Ohio Municipal Utilities and managed the rebuild of their electric distribution system also served as the Building Inspector and Zoning Officer
Director of Member Services and Safety at American Municipal Power-Ohio where I started a nationally certified apprenticeship program and climbing program for power lineman
General Manager Shelby Ohio Municipal Utilities directing several major projects to improve their generating capacity. Helped design and manage construction of a new water treatment plant and major improvements to their waste water treatment plant
General Manager of Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities. Helped design and manage a eighty million dollar utility improvement project, including a new water treatment plant, three new municipal water wells,water distribution system,improvements to their wastewater collection system, build two new electrical substations and re-build the electrical distribution system
Elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of American Municipal Power-Ohio,Board of Directors Indiana Municipal Power Association,Board of Directors Indiana Municipal Electric Association
Vice Chairman of American Public Power Association which serves 2,300 municipal power systems in the U.S.
Commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel
Received two national awards for my contributions to the public power industry
After retirement I was elected to Lawrenceburg City Council serving as Council President and as Chairman of the Lawrenceburg Redevelopment Commission
To be inducted into the International Lineman Hall of Fame in March of 2019
