Graduated from Dayton High School Class of 1971 as Salutatorian  Graduated from Northern Kentucky State College in December 1974 with BS is Mathematics; Secondary Education Graduated from Northern Kentucky University Class of 1977 with MEd–Concentration Mathematics Education  Graduated from Xavier University with a Rank I–certification in School Counseling

Dayton High School December 1974-November 2008 (Retired) Returned January 2009-July 2009  Dayton High School Mathematics Teacher grades 7-12 December 1974-June 1998 Taught Middle School Mathematics, PreAlgebra, Algebra 8th grade, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry Researched and began the program to teach Algebra I to accelerated Mathematics students in the 8th grade which is still in existence today Middle School Mathematics Portfolio Leader/Coach Middle School Odyssey of the Mind Coach Middle School National Honor Society Sponsor Dayton High School Resource Teacher Dayton High School Faculty Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) representative Was awarded Middle School Teacher of the Year three different school years  Dayton High School Guidance Counselor (Part time 1991-1998) Full time (1998-2009) Responsible for school counseling grades 7-12 Responsible for scheduling classes and class changes for all students in grades 7-12 Responsible for overseeing grades/report cards for all students Responsible for Seniors transition–including overseeing/assurance of graduation requirements, college/vocational enrollment, FAFSA, scholarship applications Helped to begin offering NKU classes for high school Juniors/Seniors Managed the DHS Scholarship Funds Responsible for ILP–Individual Learning Plans in grades 7-12  Senior Trip to Washington DC Chaperone each year  Dayton High School Assessment Coordinator Dayton High School Girls’ Varsity Basketball Coach 1975-1980 Won a NKAC Class A championship Dayton High School Girls’ Slow Pitch Softball Coach 1975-1997 Was the first coach and began the Girls’ Softball program at Dayton High School in 1975  Won several NKAC Class A championships during coaching tenure (Plaques on display in DHS cafeteria) Was on the committee to have the KHSAA recognize Slow Pitch Softball as a state sanctioned sport Began and coordinated the Dayton DEVILFEST–a weekend tournament at Gil Lynn Park for baseball, softball and tennis teams from all over Northern Kentucky Ended coaching career with a 4th place finish in the Kentucky State Slow Pitch Softball Tournament

Honors Dayton Middle School teacher of the year  NKAC Class A Softball Coach of the Year Golden Apple nominee  DHS graduation speaker 2011 nducted into the Dayton High School Sports Hall of Fame 2009
