Dan Reynolds Class of 1979

Dan attended the Dayton Independent School System starting in kindergarten and graduating in 1979.  While attending Dayton, he participated in the French Club, Art Club and was a member of the newspaper staff.  He served as the President of the French Club during his senior year.  He received awards in Art and French and was nominated for Who’s Who Among American High School Students.

After graduation, he attended Cincinnati Technical College in Cincinnati, Ohio where he earned an associate degree in Electrical Engineering and then continued his education at Northern Kentucky University.

He began his career in Electrical Engineering at Crouse Hinds Company until the company closed the office in Florence, Kentucky.  After substitute teaching for a year in the Dayton Independent School System, Dan moved into his career in banking.  He worked for Fifth Third Bank for 16 years and held multiple positions in the company. He was named as an assistant vice president while working for Fifth Third Bank. 

He has worked for Third Federal Savings and Loan for the past 23 years.  He currently holds the position of Regional Manager, managing the Central and Southwest Ohio region and serving on different committees for the bank. Dan is extremely committed to the values of Third Federal Savings and loan—love, (concern for others,) trust, respect, a commitment to excellence and fun.

Dan has been married to Glenda (Johnson) Reynolds for 28 years and counting, and they have three children (Joshua, Jacob and Sarah).

Dan has stayed an active member of the church and the community of Campbell County.  He served as a board member for the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, Kentucky and Baptist Life Communities in Erlanger, Kentucky.

Along with volunteering for Campbell County Schools for multiple events and serving on the capital improvement committee, he volunteered for the 4-H Club as a counselor and served on the staff recruiting committee as well as worked with the 4-H board for camp improvement and property acquisition.

He has served as a deacon and on multiple church committees over the years of his adult life at Dayton Baptist Church, Newport Baptist Church, Christ Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Cold Spring.  He is currently an active member of First Baptist Church of Cold Spring serving as a deacon, an organist and a member of the finance committee.  He is committed to spreading the love of Jesus to our community.
