Eastern Kentucky University; BS Chemistry University of Kentucky; M.D., Wake Forest University; residency in Anesthesiology. Dr. Owings is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has been a resident of High Point and a member of the Carolina Anesthesiology since 1983. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Owings completed his residence in Anesthesiology at Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center. He has served on numerous committees during his tenure at High Point Regional Health System. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the North Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists. He is also a member of local, state and national medical societies.
